After 20 days of not being online, at last I got my hands on a PC, albeit it’s 3 hours away from where I live because power transmission still hasn’t been restored back home. When they get the power back, I pledge to be back in the business.. The recent storm has taught me that life is indeed too short..
Watching the girls Lotte videos really sent that all too familiar tingle through my very soul. I admit I’ve been away, but is it high time for a comeback?
Hey there, and once again I am back with subs for another episode of Tonkotsu. A disclaimer of course, since it’s sort of rushed so there might be mistranslations here and there, but I did try to the best of my ability. Regardless, I had lots of fun subbing this one, particularly because of our kodomo dodgeball captain Yuka-chan. Lots of great laughs to be had with this episode, particularly with the last battle in the segment. And never really expected that they’d use the point getter in the skit in the beginning. And that Evangelion reference Takei made, that was just a stab, I’m not sure if that’s what he actually meant. There’s a T/L note in that part of the video. Video up soon..

Episode 10 features entertainer Takei Sou. To be honest though, he’s quite the odd one. Not really sure if I can put a finger on him exactly, but regardless, he’s got this good mix of being a serious and a funny entertainer. I guess the only thing I can do is just translate parts of his Wikipedia so you guys have more information on him. Info in the spoiler below. I just have to say, holy shit, this guy is loaded on the educational side.
[Takei Sou (武井壮)][Takei Sou (武井壮)]

Originally from Katsushika in Tokyo. A champion decathlon athlete in Japan, and after retiring became a physical training talent, and is aiming to become the [“King of Beasts”]
In 1997, crowned winner at the 81st Japan Track-and-Field Championship Series. In 2013, holds the Japanese record for the 100m run at 10s:54ms. But is not the Japanese record holder for decathlons.
Continues in daily training for his quest to be the king of beasts. Simulates scenarios on how to win against various animals in battle like lions, crocodiles, gorillas, kangaroos, elephants and the like.
Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed subbing it.. ^.^ And pardon the inaccuracies.. ^.^ Comments, suggestions and murderous intent will be welcomed. So please do leave me some, alright?
Since I’m back in the Philippines, and I’ve yet to have net at home, at least I can focus on what needs to get done.. Hoping to get all of them out at the same time soon.. XD Sorry it took so long..
I know that I haven’t posted up in quite a bit and I’m sure that I’ve lost followers within the last few months because of this.. I’m on my way back to the Philippines tomorrow, and once I get back there I’ll have more free time and I’ll be back with a vengeance.. I guess I just wanted to thank everyone who stuck through (or didn’t) up to now.. ^.^ I’ll get the internet up and running when I’m back there and hopefully I’ll be back to the normal scheduling.. XD
Currently on my visa exit and net is balls over here in Iran so yeah.. I so regret not bringing my lappie because i could have actually got some subbing done while I’m here.. Already have the new Odekake wrapped up in my mind and I just need to get my hands on my lappie at home for the luls.. ^.^ Be back soon.. XD Need suggestions about where to upload when I’m done though because I just can’t upload on vid48, and stuff gets taken down in the other places. Suggestions?
